ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Assuring our children begin their education in the best possible learning environment is crucial. In 2004, five of the elementary schools within the city limits of Burlington received the Honor School of Excellence Award. Recently opened in August 2007, Highland Elementary School is located just outside the community of Mackintosh.

MIDDLE SCHOOLS

Middle schools are conveniently located in Burlington and Gibsonville and offer students excellent learning environments. Both local middle schools were named Schools of Distinction.
